Ocean Art BioCarbon is a very pure and effective activated carbon. The BioCarbon is washed with hydrochloric acid. This removes any contaminants to prevent substances from leaching. We recommend not to use more than 50 g per 100 liters. BioCarbon can be added every month and should be removed after 2-5 days. BioCarbon can be used in fresh and saltwater aquariums. Great for removing medications, chemicals and the yellow tint in your water column. Rinse before use.
